Scope

This notice applies to personal information provided through evaschmack.com, including the private request form. A later client engagement may involve additional terms or notices appropriate to that relationship.

Information collected

When you send a private request, the form asks for your name, email address, location, the nature of your interest, and the message you choose to share. Please provide only information that is relevant to the request.

The hosting and form provider may also process limited technical information, such as an IP address and security or spam signals, to deliver and protect the service.

How the information is used

Your information is used to read and assess the request, respond where appropriate, arrange a private conversation, manage a relationship if one begins, and protect the website from misuse. It is not used to build advertising profiles or send unrelated marketing.

Storage and sharing

Form submissions are processed and securely stored through Netlify, the website’s hosting and form service provider. Access is limited to people who need the information to review the request or operate the service.

Information is not sold, rented, or shared for advertising. It may be shared with professional advisers or other service providers where reasonably necessary, or disclosed when required by law. Netlify’s own handling is described in its privacy statement.

Retention and security

Information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to consider the request, manage any resulting relationship, maintain appropriate records, and meet legal or security obligations. Requests that do not lead to an engagement are reviewed for deletion.

Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used, but no method of internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask what information is held about you, request a correction or deletion, restrict or object to certain use, or withdraw consent where consent applies.

To make a privacy request, use the private request form, choose “Something else entirely,” and begin the note with “Privacy request.” Share only what is needed to identify the earlier submission. Identity may need to be verified before a request is completed.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not currently use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking, or third-party analytics. Essential hosting and security technologies may operate where necessary to deliver and protect the site.

If the website’s data practices change materially, this notice will be updated before those changes are relied upon.
